This location and amenities was ideal for our trip to be right next to Hallgrimskirkja, and bus stop #8 and within walking distance of the waterfront with Viking ship, grocery stores, and even bus stop #11 for excursions. This hotel also offers privacy of not having day to day intrusions of house keeping staff etc. I highly recommend this location for its location and value!

Great location, just a 2 minute walk to the church, which is stop #8 to be picked up for tours. It is very convenient to walk around downtown and several restaurants nearby. The room is small as described, but it was okay. Staff was always very responsive and let me do early check-in. There’s storage and an elevator in the building. Would definitely stay there again if I come back.

Very nice efficiency apartment, located at a very convenient location for local shops, restaurants, grocery store, and excursion/bus pickups (Hallgrimskirkja church bus stop). The way the rooms were numbered was a little confusing so signage could be better (for example, rooms 201 and 202 are on the second floor, but when you get to the second floor the rooms start with 23, 24, etc so it is very easy to feel like you are in he wrong place to find your room unless you go all the way down the hall) . The rooms have a microwave, hot plate, mini fridge including small freezer compartment, french press, electric kettle, and Nespresso machine. Pretty much everything you need. The shower is small but you make it work. When staff were on site cleaning rooms they were friendly and helpful. I have no complaints except the price, but I know that the cost of all lodging across Reykjavik was increased during my stay because of the eclipse and increased tourist Traffic. I feel like I had good value for what I got here and very much recommend staying here! A good happy medium between a hostel and a fancy hotel.

Very small room, but we had everything we need for our stay, very clean, convenient location close to the beautiful church where all the tours take their start, walkable to the center of the city and bus station. We are very thankful that we could leave our luggage before the check-in and after check-out in the hotel.

So so glad I decided to pick this hostel for my trip. Despite having booked the cheapest rooms from one of the cheapest hostels, the room was private, clean, quiet, and even had its own bathroom. The location was incredible and the owners were responsive and accommodating. Absolutely the best bang for your buck.

A cheaper solo accommodation with a private bathroom. It’s close to the bus stop, pick ups for tours are easy. The room is clean and newly renovated. It’s spacious for a single occupant. Its location is close to dining and shopping. I would stay there again if I’m back in Reykjavík.

Excellent stay at a perfect location

A lovely and clean room with all the amenities in a perfect location. No complaints. Walking distance to all the main spots, including the BSI bus station. Highly recommend it.
