The hotel is charming! The owner, Sylvie, greets you with a big smile and explains you everything when you arrive. Probably one of the most amazing things in the hotel is its modern design (it would probably be classified as a "design hotel" in Germany). It is situated in the center of the city, yet close to the sea. Unfortunately, it is also in the restaurant/party area, which on some nights can be very loud. Bring earplugs if you want to get some rest. If you book the small double room, the bathroom is just a cubicle inside the room. It has a sliding door to separate it from the bed. The bathroom cannot be completely closed, so you can see inside from the sides. This makes it difficult to get enough intimacy when using it. The bed is comfortable and large enough for two people. The pillows could be softer. In fact, you have two small pillows in each pillow case and sleeping on them is very challenging. The pillow case is sown and you cannot separate them, so we just had to do with it. That was actually the only thing that was discomforting. The room itself was really clean, modern and nicely decorated. There are hangers to hang your clothes on 2 wall hooks, but no wardrobe. For the price we paid we found it to be ok. The breakfast is a typical French breakfast. Don't expect salty things, but mainly sweet bakery products, jam etc. There is however fresh fruit salad, and cereals if you want to lower your sugar level. I really loved the place and will probably book it again.
