The worst place we stayed at. The bed was broken and we had to sleep on living room couch…the bathroom doors didn’t look and one bathroom door didn’t close. We complained to front desk in person next day but were not much help and didn’t even bother to change room forget about the upgrade for the inconvenience. It’s nice property but not being maintained by staff and staff not really there to help as they are just there to do minimum and collect their check!

We enjoyed our stay. One odd thing was the porch light stayed on all night, so it was kind of strange that you couldn’t shut if off and it glared in the window. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. It’s a good place to take family as it has tennis courts, an outdoor pool and a golf course. Rooms are nice and newly renovated.

We love the island inn, it was very cozy, private, and had a great restaurant within walking distance, Nomans! Really enjoyed their drinks and our first lobster roll

​My recent stay at The Island Inn in Oak Bluffs was absolutely wonderful. The location is perfect, offering a tranquil escape while still being a short walk or bike ride from all the action of the town and the ferry. ​The staff was welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. My room was immaculately clean, comfortable, and provided a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring Martha's Vineyard. ​I highly recommend The Island Inn for anyone looking for a charming, relaxing, and convenient place to stay on the island. Overall a nice cozy property. Stayed there from Monday and left Friday. No complaints or concerns. Property was clean and quite. Microwave wasnt working called the office ans it was replaced within 24 hours. Will stay again.

Staff very friendly and responsive. Nice kitchen area. Air conditioning loud. TV did not work when we first arrived had to wait until next day to get fixed. The place could be updated a bit, at least the area we stayed. There is a bus every 20 minutes.

Very nice property

This was our second time staying at this property. The grounds are beautiful and all the staff we encountered were very nice and helpful. The reason I deducted one star was because in the downstairs bathroom sink when we turned the knob for the hot water no water came out. The knob for the cold water worked just fine. Also it took a few minutes to get hot water in the other bathroom sink, showers and kitchen. This did very little to dampen our stay and we will definitely be back again.

The property is nice and quiet. Our room was not great. It was not cleaned well and was in disrepair-the bathroom on the main floor had a broken towel rack and the fan in the bathroom on the top floor sounded like a jet engine. It was very highly priced without a big return.

Property was updated however the refrigerator even on low froze $200 worth of food purchased for my trip. There were flies everywhere. We could not figure out where they came in but it was very frustrating to spend every evening killing 10 or more flies. Maintenance came but did not resolve the issue. Also other guests had their dogs off lease and it was a problem that was not addressed. I had a very small dog that I could hardly walk because of the inconsideration of some other guests with dogs. I hope to hear from management to at least get food reimbursement.

A Mess

This place was a nightmare! I stayed here two years ago and it was decent, but this trip was a mess. I checked in early - 10a- and was told to come back after 3p for my room. Once we accessed our room after 3p, there was one king bed for an adult and two children. I of course complained because this was not what I booked and I was told to deal with it because they were at capacity. The manager never followed up and nothing was offered for the inconvenience … not even a cot. The pool area is underwhelming. There were events on the tennis court with loud music at 8am in the morning right outside of our door. The furnishings needed repair. It was a mess! The property has a restaurant onsite with a small menu and it is a hike to get back and forth to oak bluffs. I’d advise you to familiarize yourself with the bus schedule. I would not recommend this property to anyone. Management is not responsive and the location is off if you really want to leave the property and enjoy the island.

The bathrooms/showers were very small, but aside from that, access was great, plenty of room for 2, with nice kitchen/amenities and ok distance from town. Probably better if you can bring a car on the island though.

The location was great, we liked not being in the rush of Oak Hills or Edgartown. The rooms were noisy, we could hear our neighbors quite a bit, which was a little annoying. The room itself was spacious and we could relax.
