Our room was on the first floor- this required packing our bags up a short flight of steps from lobby to lounge, then up a full narrow, Dutch flight of stairs, through a door, down a hall, and then down some more steps. The room was very old, smelled stale, and looked out onto the inside wall of the building, which was covered in scaffolding. The bathroom had a very stale smell, and the water faucet was actually 2- one hot, and one cold. No way to temperate your water.
Unfortunately we had a non-refundable stay, but even with that we just couldn’t see spending 3 nights there so checked out the same day and chose another hotel.
We
Thought it would be a charming quaint place to stay, based on the description and photos, but it just wasn’t for us.
