After arriving at the airport, we were informed by the hotel manager that our originally booked hotel, "Phoenix Pyramids View," had been upgraded to "Khufu Hotel." While we were unsure if the original hotel was good, we experienced both positive and negative aspects at the new hotel.
Positives:
- Complimentary daily Breakfast.
- Free Transfer from Airport to the Hotel
- Air-conditioned Room
- Direct View to the Pyramids from the Rooftop
- Friendly Hotel Staff
- Hotel Manager Available 24/7 via WhatsApp.
Negatives:
- Unexpected Change of Hotel
- Room Quality: Frequent power and water outages
- Inconsistent Room Service: Room service, including changing the bedsheets, was not provided daily and only happened once during our 6-day stay unless specifically requested.
- Poor Location: The area outside the hotel was unpleasant, with trash and with trash and the smell of horse and camel waste.
- Extra Charges for Airport Transfer
Therefore, overall, we would give an average rating to this hotel. As mentioned, we don't know how our original hotel was. We booked for 6 nights and spent most of the daytime outside for 4 days.

We appreciated the daily free breakfast, airport transfer, air-conditioned rooms, pyramid views from the rooftop, friendly staff, and the manager's availability via WhatsApp, there were significant drawbacks aswell.
