The hotel itself is clean and the staff is really nice and forthcoming, albeit not all members spoke English.
The rooms are clean and give an impression of being well maintained. Bathroom was really great too. The only major issue I had (which brought down my review from 4/5 to 3/5) is the horrible sound isolation on the doors. It literally sounded as if though the door was open all the time, hence being able to sleep uninterrupted was not possible, as there always was an early riser, and chattering/footsteps/closing of doors could be heard unmuffled. Same goes for people going to bed late. I myself belong to this category, I always tried closing the door making as little noise as possible, but that was quite the impossibility. Other than that, the hotel is next to a main road and 15 minutes on foot to the next train station. From there there is a direct connection to the rambla, in total, from the hotel to the Rambla it takes approx. 50 minutes and 3€ with public transport and like 25 minutes by car, which given the value-for-price of the hotel is acceptable.
