My flight arrived at 3:30 a.m. Upon arriving at the hotel, I was informed that my reservation had been unilaterally canceled on the assumption that I would not show up, despite the fact that the booking was fully valid. The front desk refused to take responsibility and repeatedly instructed me to contact Expedia, the booking platform.
When I contacted Expedia, I was informed that no agent was available and that they were unable to process a refund or provide any immediate assistance. As a result of the hotel’s improper cancellation and the lack of support from both parties, I was left without accommodation and was forced to spend the night outside.
This situation caused me significant distress and inconvenience, and I consider this handling of my reservation to be unacceptable. I therefore request an appropriate refund and compensation for the hardship caused.
