The room was very clean upon arrival. While waiting in the lounge to check in, I noticed that the staff cleaning the entire lounge area including vacuuming and wiping down the tables and chairs. It was nice that we were able to lock up our luggage and having the key available right there to take with us.
Check in is at 4pm with early check in options costing a certain amount, the earlier the more expensive. Check in was really easy with the available tablets and staff happened to be available to help out during my check in.
The lounge itself was very clean, elevator ventilation smelled a bit moldy, but the room was very clean upon arrival. They gave us 2x new bath towels and 2x new face towels daily.
Pro tip, they have a drink vending machine in the lounge downstairs but there's a cheaper 100 yen vending machine right outside the hotel. They also have umbrellas available for borrowing and I wish I checked the weather one of the days I was there.
The bathroom is very tight. It's very difficult to sit on the toilet seat without my head hitting the sliding bathroom door and I'm only 5'6. The shower curtain also makes it difficult to shower and the controls were on the sink as it's on the same plumbing. There's a control on the sink that switches the water supply from the sink to the shower. This takes some getting used to and when I first turned on the sink, At first, I didn't realize the shower head was pointed at the toilet and water sprayed through the entire bathroom.
