I loved staying here. The check in and check out was very easy. There was always someone that you could call for any questions. I liked that you were able to do laundry at the hotel which was super helpful for me cause i was staying for longer than a few days. And the free ramen and water 24/7 was so nice. Overall amazing stay.

The hotel is near train and bus stations so location is convenient. This is also walking distance from palace and Bukchon Hanok village. Love that cold (and hot) drinking water is always available and you can help yourself with ramen if you do not feel like eating outside. I met someone who looks after the place and she is very friendly and helpful. Amenities are available and the room is clean so I highly recommend this place.

We stayed here as a family of 4. The location is very clean and convenient to everything. The downside is that the room sizes are VERY small! With the 2 queen size bunk beds, you only have floor space for 1 person to comfortably stand. If you have any full-size luggage, you are in trouble. Luckily, we only had carry-ons. The ramen station was great and the hotel is great, it is just not made for a group of 4 taller people, plus bags.

Everything was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up with everything I needed. The location was also perfect, close to city attractions and easy to get around. Really enjoyed staying here and ended up extending for another night. For the price, this place is such a good deal. Free ramen, free coffee, free water, and everything feels super clean and new. Honestly hard to beat at this price point in Seoul. Check-in isn’t the most straightforward if you’re a foreigner, but there’s a help button and someone is always there to assist, so it wasn’t a big problem at all. Rooms are a bit small (pretty typical for Seoul), but totally fine for our stay. Location is great to, close to cultural spots and just a few minutes’ walk to the train station. Would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Seoul.

Thank you, Hotel JAK team. I had a pleasant stay there. The bedsheets and towels were clean, and the location is perfect. I felt at home and very warm there. There are many local restaurants nearby with delicious food, and it is also close to the train stations. The only small downside is that the shower water temperature sometimes becomes too hot or too cold. But for me, it was not a problem at all. However, for those who bring young kids, it might be better to check the water temperature before showering. I will stay at this hotel again when I visit Seoul. Thank you again ❤️

We stayed for 12 days in this hotel. The first thing you need to know before you book is that this is a SELF MANAGEMENT hotel, everything is automated, you do your own check-in using your passport at their computerised kiosk. No reception, no breakfast BUT plenty of character! we chose this hotel due to its location and because we didn't want the usual amenities of breakfast etc etc other hotels offer. The rooms are small and thats exactly what we needed. We didn't want big rooms, suites or other services as we went exploring all day. The owner is a very kind and friendly lady, we struck a good friendship and she was happy to have us stay for these days. If you want a small place, for exploring full days and just staying to sleep this is all you need. We were happy with our choice and the location central and close to bus and train station. Walking distance to Palaces, Myendong and other cultural activities.

Amazing traditional stay in the beautiful alleys of Insa-dong. The hotel was beautifully presented and the self serve noodle breakfast was great. Maybe my mis-reading but may be worth mentioning that the standard rooms don’t have access to the steam/bath as in the pictures as I believe this is part of only the highest room type. Would recommend for an insadong stay and would definitely return!

La ubicación del hotel para mi es inmejorable, en un barrio muy bonito, tienes Myeongdong a unos veinte minutos andando al igual que los palacios de Seúl. La llegada es auto check-in, nosotros particularmente tuvimos problemas porque no nos reconocía el pasaporte, pero puedes llamar y te atienden y te lo resuelven a distancia, con dificultades para entender en inglés pero pudimos arreglarlo. Teníamos reservadas habitaciones DeLuxe, el nombre no describe la habitación, para dos personas resultan pequeñas; la ducha está en el lavabo y al ducharte se moja todo el baño pero te duchas bien. No tiene ascensor por lo que mejor ir ligero de equipaje. Hotel muy bonito, muy bien situado, tranquilo, pero quizás no cómodo para todo el mundo.

숙소의 위치가 좋아 지하철을 타고 서울 여기저기를 돌아볼 수 있었어요. 무인이지만 필요할 때 언제든 도움을 받을 수 있었습니다. 언제나 여분으로 쓸 수 있는 수건이 항상 로비에 있어서 좋았어요. 무엇보다도 언제든 끓여먹을 수 있는 라면과 따뜻하게 혹은 시원하게 먹을 수 있는 커피가 있어 너어어어어무 좋았습니다. 다음에 서울 갈 일 있으면 다시 예약할게요
