Happy quiet weekend

Checked into the hotel Friday evening with my son and check in was fast. The young lady who checked us in was very nice and helpful and explained everything to us. Our weekend stay was very relaxing and fun while staying there.

We were impressed with the room for the good value. The breakfast was good. The swimming pool was too cold to go swimming. The outside was not impressive but nice inside. It was quiet. Close to the interstate and downtown Ames. We would definitely stay again.

I was looking for an inexpensive, no frills, clean room in a safe neighborhood. That's exactly what I got. Everything was clean and well maintained, although interior hallway lighting was a bit dim. The staff was very friendly. This is a neighborhood of motels with a selection of take out and eat in restaurants within a block of the motel. The north side of the building is amazingly quiet in the evening considering how close it is to a street. I don't know about the side of the building facing the parking lot and US-30.

Check in at 10 pm, fast and easy. Was in room in 10 minute… and straight to sleep. They have dove product which I like. Affordable and comfortable 1 night stay

The motel was adequate, nothing special. Pool was cold, breakfast had few options and most were pre-packaged. Waffle machine, yogurt, 2 kinds of creal, coffee & juice. Beds were comfortable, room was spacious & clean.

Check-in was smooth. The gentleman was very friendly. I had accidentally left my favorite jacket in the room. They graciously held it until I came back through to get it. I’m SO grateful!

The lobby, parking lot and area around the hotel was immaculate. The bathroom tub was a little dated. The room was clean. It would be nice if they cleaned the pool. The dirt ring around the pool was about 3” wide which tells means the just add water and the floor of the pool was slimy.
