This is a motel on the main road. Room was good sized. Very basic. Bed was pretty comfortable. About as quiet as you might expect on the main road. Served it's purpose.

The Padre is a nice, basic motel. The Padre’s proprietor, Charles, was very friendly and helpful. He responded to our needs quickly. This hotel is an older building but well maintained and clean. Escalante is a tiny town. You can walk to the few restaurants along Main Street. The Escalante National Monument is just 10 minutes down the million dollar highway, and that is amazing to experience.

Loved The Padre! Cute little place. Charles in the office was outstanding, super helpful and informative. Room was basic but super clean, bed was fabulous, had everything we needed including big TV and Nespresso coffee system. Parking right in front, walking distance to lots, all very convenient. Price was right. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Perfect stay for a night while heading from Bryce to Capitol Reef. Staff member at front desk was extremely nice and helpful and the room was cute and clean! Would definitely stay again if ever in the area again.

This is a classic roadside motel that's been cleaned up and updated inside. Very basic but very adequate. Clean and good to stay at.

Place looks really old and worn down on the outside but the room was very clean and well maintained. So just be aware that this is a really small town. FYI the front desk was not continuously manned when I arrived at 4 Pm and there was a sign that they would be back at 5. He was helpful with recommendations for the area. I wasn't sure if I had a fire hose or shower head installed. The water pressure was amazing! My muscles were very thankful! Overall I was quite satisfied with my stay and I did like the keypad door so I don't have to worry about dropping my key card somewhere

This isn't a new lodging, but it is excellently maintained. Bed was super comfortable. Great AC. The gentleman who manages the lodging was very friendly and helpful. Would stay there again and highly recommend to others looking for an affordable, clean, comfortable place to stay.
