Bring your own shampoo. Rooms are small but everything else was good. The beds are a bit to firm for my liking but overall a good stay. You can see Circus circus and Silverado from the rooms picks are from mine.

It was fine. We were in an older rooms but had friends in the same place that had nicer and cleaner rooms. We felt safe enough. But we weren’t staying with kids either. Happy for what I paid for the room, but probably wouldn’t stay there again.

We checked in, went to our room and them checked out. There is not enough parking for all the rooms. They ask you to park behind the building where there is no cameras or security, When. we went into our room and there was no toilet paper and some of the light switches didn't turn on. We really didn't feel safe at this hotel. We walked across the street to the Seasons Inn hotel and got a new room. We then went back to the Red Roof and checked out. I know my fee for the room ($68.73) is non-refundable and luckily, I got my deposit $100 back. The Pictures on this website for the Hotel are not what they are. The rooms are not the same on the website. Very disappointed. The person that greeted you. hade holes in her shirt and missing teeth. Will never go to this hotel again.

Wasn’t sure what to expect with the negative reviews but it was perfectly fine. Beds were pretty stiff but the room and sheets were all clean. Didn’t find an ice machine and the property is definitely older but everything worked and we were close to downtown Reno

The only good things were the bed was comfortable and there was good hot water and pressure in the shower. The property was filthy, (I noticed the pile of feces, I think human, behind the dumpster in the parking lot). I had to interact with the only staff member I saw through bulletproof glass. He wouldn't even let me in the lobby. The only amenity was a bar of soap; not even any shampoo, conditioner or lotion It was inexpensive and you get what you pay for, not much

I booked a King sized bed and when I arrived was given 2 small very uncomfortable beds. I asked to be moved and was told they were sold out. was given the choice to take a refund and leave or deal with it. Also the bathroom had not been cleaned there was soap still in the shower, hair in the shower and trash on the back of the toilet seat.

The first room we were put in had a bench right outside the door where other guests would sit and talk on their phones and smoke. Our door had daylight showing under the door which allowed their smoke to come straight into our room. The smell was horribly strong and we had a headache within minutes. We were able to change rooms and those issues no longer mattered. In the new room, The shower was made for a 4’ tall person and was extremely loud and only half the water actually came out of the shower head, the rest continued out of the faucet. The floor was not swept prior to us getting the room and the beds did not have a fitted sheet, they had a flat sheet laid over a plastic mattress protector… The facility does not have enough parking spaces to accommodate each room having one vehicle, we had to park in a parking garage across the street & down the block.

This expirence was a nightmare orginal booking was for 3 nights, then extended it for another 3 nights. The first room We had was no issue, standard 2 hard beds, clean enough (the floors were disgusting in my opinion, I had to clean them for us, but my husband said they are "standard motel floors" and not to knock them for it. You decide) and we had a quiet few nights. When we extended the booking is when the issues started. First and foremost, any time I have ever extended a booking at a hotel/motel/resort exc. I have just made the booking, paid and went on about the day. Not here. They came pounding on the door at 11am (we were sleeping, I am here for a sick kid, so rest when we can) I was groggy and confused. The woman said you need to get out of this room. I said we are staying. I extended the booking. She huffed in my face and said oh really. She stomped away and I shut the door. Ok. End of that? Nope. Next thing I know she is back, and DEMANDING we pack NOW. I was still confused and again told her we were staying over. She said nope you have to check out then back in later. What the hell? Ok. Fine. We pack up load the car sit in the parking lot for 2 hours. Check back in and the room we got was horrible. The ac leaks, the toilet seat is broken, the light dosnt work. When we contacted the front desk we were told its in perfect working order. No its not. After some back and forth over the ac with my husband i thought we were moving rooms. Nope they kicked us out.

While the room itself was updated with nice, modern furniture, my overall stay was highly disappointing due to severe maintenance and guest service issues. The bathroom was in poor condition, featuring a persistent leak coming through the exhaust vent. Even worse, night crawlers were emerging from the bathroom tile whenever the lights were turned off. I reported the leak to the front desk immediately upon check-in, hoping for a quick repair or a partial discount if it couldn't be fixed. Unfortunately, management deflected and made every excuse to avoid offering any compensation. By the time it became clear the issue wouldn't be resolved, it was too late in the evening and all surrounding hotels were completely booked. I ultimately decided to just push through the night rather than fight for a midnight cancellation and refund. I will absolutely never return to this property and cannot recommend staying here under its current management and upkeep.
