Check in was good, kind and efficient staff, I was only there for one night.
The room was nice, spacious enough, large bed with what I assume to be memory foam mattress, which was a treat, could've done with a plug socket by the bed, otherwise it was okay.
Breakfast the next morning was something to be desired, waited 30 minutes to be offered any kind of hot drinks or toast, and the waitress who eventually took my order looked as though she'd rather be elsewhere. I can excuse the fact that there was a large party staying overnight which could've been a factor in the service delay, however some recognition wouldn't have gone amiss. The breakfast itself was average, overcooked fried egg, potato scone which I'm sure had seen better days, and the beans were lukewarm.
Would I stay here again? Only out of sheer convenience, for what I paid I expected slightly more.
