Comfortable Capsule hotel
Been in Tokyo for two weeks with a friend, and for the most part we've been staying at The Nell. The price is good for the service they give, but keep in mind that being a capsule hotel, you have minimal personal space: in case you have a normal suitcase, you need to rent a big locker, which is given at a good price; plus, bathrooms are communal, but they are kept in excellent conditions and cleaned every day.
The bedding of the capsule room is very minimal, but more than enough. In summer there is A/C 24/7 running so you won't be sleeping in a sweatbox.
They aren't very big, so i think a tall/big person would have some trouble fitting comfortably.
Be aware that in Japan not many hotels of this kind have staff that speaks english, but is easy enough to be understood.
Also this is a cash only place, they won't accept foreign credit cards, and the payment for the entire stay has to be done at check-in.
As the name of the hotel makes intend, this is a place ONLY for men, as common as many other capsule hotels.
The staff could may not accept customers with big visible tattoos.
