Shopping in Qatar spans a broad spectrum in terms of style and price. At one end, you have a choice of ultra-modern malls in Doha, with big-name brands in luxurious air-conditioned surroundings. Some of these places are like little cities in their own right, as they occupy massive areas with countless shops, amazing facilities, and entertainment options.

At the opposite end of the spectrum, you have the country’s many souqs. These bustling bazaars have just about anything, from tourist trinkets to fresh fish. Markets in Qatar are generally loud, fragrant and chaotic – but arguably a lot of fun. Expect excellent prices that you can make even better with some skilful haggling.
