This hotel’s location is perfect—close enough to enjoy everything the Fringe Festival has to offer, but far enough from the chaos to feel safe and peaceful. This was a very lovely hotel in Edinburgh off the hustle and bustle of the royal mile but close enough to walk to everything. The room was spacious with tall ceilings and windows, which added to the overall vibe. The room was clean with nice touches, and the staff were friendly! Very quiet as well.

It was wonderful. They let me check in early and gave me a beautiful updated room. I ate at the restaurant several times and enjoyed it. The staff were personable and kind with one exception. (Takes all types.) I will stay here again if the occasion arises.

Quite a tired looking hotel. Greeted several times with dirty crockery in hallways. Food was nice at breakfast and a la carte menu. Australian guy and girl were very efficient. Restaurant was cold - people sat in jackets. The main thing that was dissapointing was the pool was freezing. No one was getting in.
