Overall my stay here was good, but there were just a couple of things that could be improved. One, there was no bin in the room (even in the bathroom, which for women is vital). Two, the shower was cold - I was in a rush so didnât alert anyone to this, so in fairness they may have been able to fix it. And three, it wasnât clear if there was any WiFi, but if there was I certainly couldnât connect to it. The bed was pretty uncomfortable, but if youâre just there for one or two nights itâs fine. Everything else in the room was great - really clean, free toiletries, and a nice big mirror in the bathroom. Finally, the staff were what really made this for me - everyone I interacted with was super friendly and really helpful, especially when I couldnât figure out how to lock my door! And as I knew Iâd be checking in late, I called ahead and they made sure security would know to let me in. The room is very basic and would be a bit of a squish for 2 people (also the bed is a 3/4 double), but itâs honestly fine for a night or two. So all in all, really good value for money if you want a cheap stay close to central Edinburgh, just needs a teeny bit of fine tuning!
