The room was clean and the shower was really hot.Lots of choice on the buffet table. The cooked breakfast was freshly made and hot. Parking was excellent. Danielle was very friendly and made you feel welcome. As did Tarquin.The lady who brought the breakfast was happy to have a little chat when she was serving you. It's only a short walk from the Apple house to the York City walls. Lots of amenities nearby. Very quiet and the breakfast was amazing.

The owners are friendly and attentive . They treat every customer like a VIP. The house is well- maintained. You can see every details the owners made. It is not the style of modern hotel but we enjoy our stay in this cozy and traditional english building.

The Apple house staff were great. Very friendly, easy check in, nice breakfast for reasonable. The neighborhood is very cute with several cafes, restaurants, pubs, and shopping. This place is very close to York and is a good place to use as a home base for a visit. The room was quite dated and could use some updating. There is street noise.
