Lovely hotel on University of Edinburgh - Pollock Halls campus - so was great for our trip to drop our son off for his first year and stay over. Polite and friendly staff, beautiful hotel, comfy room and delicious breakfast.
The staff was so helpful and kind. Close to Arthurâs Seat but a bit of a walk to the castle and old town. We were able to take advantage of the workout gym which was a half mile away. It was lovely but you need your own towel and lock of you want to use the locker room. Hotel was on the campus of the university of Edinburgh. Limited parking but we were able to find a spot. Hotel was absolutely beautiful and well maintained. No lift, have to use the stairs. Highly recommend this hotel
We came to stay for 2 nights and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Reception staff were very welcoming and the room was so comfortable.
We would highly recommend this hotel, there are nice views of the nearby mountain and although it is situated on the outside of the University campus, it is full of gardens and a very nice atmosphere.
A beautiful little hotel in very good condition, so we enjoyed it. But, the service has huge room for improvements !
I believe the hotel has employed a lot of students - fine but hey need training.
The main gate is blocked - very difficult to find an alternative route. Please, make sure the maps/Garmin get updated !
Is says free limited parking. When there is NO parking to be found the hotel should have a back up !
A waiter spilled "egg royale " on my trousers - I would expect some kind of response - a free drink in the bar, may be.... ! A managers asked if I was insured (!!!) - no the egg did not case injuries.....
The Bonniers was closed the two nights we could have eaten there. Very disapointing ! please, print info in big print !
We noticed that some guests very welcomed with a small drink. Strange to be present and not get any....
The reception should have some city maps to give out.
A beautiful place with a breakfast fit for royalty. The rooms are spotless and cozy, and the beds gently lull you to sleep. It truly feels like your own little palace. Weâre already hoping to return.
Beautiful hotel next to university campus. Quiet and great breakfast and room. Price very nice and a little way out of city. This is a bonus if you went to relax away from the busy Edinburgh .
